I’d love to share some of my favorite books with you, which have enhanced my own business techniques, and personal life. Here they are!
The New Conceptual Selling, by Robert B. Miller and Stephen E. Heiman
Ann Sieg, author of
The Renegade Network Marketer
suggested I read this book. It is about a different approach, other than the traditional sales method, to reach our prospects and create a win-win situation. I use this approach every single day when I perform my complimentary consultations.
It teaches us how to interact with a prospect and discover what our prospect’s needs, wants, and desires are, and allows us the opportunity to digest this information, and then come back to the prospect, and present solutions for them, based on our product or service capabilities. This is a must read for anyone in a home-based-business.
Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill
This book was originally published 70 years ago, and it continues to be a powerful read. The author, Napoleon Hill did some serious research and interviewed hundreds of successful and influential men and women during his time, and discovered the power of thinking like the rich do. Read about Hill’s thirteen-step formula, which will guide you to your own success. I love the part of his book which encourages forming a Master Mind group. This is simply surrounding yourself with key people in your organization to brain storm together on a regular basis and bring brilliant ideas together.
After readying Hill’s book, I set up my own Master Mind from my network marketing team: Linda Bolte, Tamara Jones, Patricia Lawrence, Meighan Howard, Nanette Sorenson, LeeAnn McVey, and Michael Henderson. What an awesome way to learn more, by including selected individuals in regular meetings to help you create new ideas and make decisions!
Brilliant book. Be sure to get the most updated version, with Arthur R. Pell, Ph.D.
The Power of Full Engagement, by Jim Loehr and Tony Schwartz
Ann Sieg, Author of
The Renegade Network Marketer
recommended this book to her Renegade Marketing Team and I must admit, it was a welcome addition to my library and arsenal of how to books. The authors focus on energy, including physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energy.
Are you trying to figure out how to get everything done in a day and exhausting yourself working unbelievable hours? You must read this book! Wow, I realized how important it is to take a break, and re-energize myself. Fabulous read. Thanks, Ann for recommending it to me and the team!
The Next Millionaires, by Paul Zane Pilzer
Here is an easy read that you won’t want to miss. Paul Zane Pilzer is brilliant, and explains to us the economics of scarcity, abundance, our changing world, the age of the entrepreneur, and most importantly for me, the spiritual nature of business, and the value of having a job you love.
Tucker Goes to Heaven, by Alicia Bausley
Okay, I couldn’t resist. How could I put a list of books that I recommend you read, and not include my own children’s book? A few years ago, my loving friend Cheryl Gordon, lost her Springer Spaniel, Tucker. Tucker was brother to my Lacy. Both are gone now, romping in heaven’s garden together. To help Cheryl through her mourning period, I wrote a story, and later had it published and gave the book to Cheryl for her birthday. My dear friend, Hayako Otsubo, created all the beautiful artwork, which is painted in watercolor.
Tucker Goes to Heaven is a children’s book and a story of a loving and good pet, who is rewarded by Jesus and His Father for his goodness on earth.
Of course, I highly recommend you read it! Please enjoy!
